Buttons & Badges

Bring to life all those baby and toddler knits you have piling up by adding some homemade buttons. Made to order with a large choice of size, colours and themes. Everything can also be made into badges so you can pin them to all your clothes and bags.

Cuddlies

These little cuddly babies are perfect gifts for babies, children or mummies.

They're completely handmade from a soft minky fabric or cotton and all of them are one of a kind.

They can also have the personal touch and have a hand embroidered name on their bum! I can make almost anything; recent commissions include a lion and horse.

Hangers

Blast Off! Crinkle Rockets

These rockets are a blast of senses for your baby. They are filled with polyester beans and crinkle material for your baby to explore as well as a furry flame. They measure approximately 23cm/9" and include a plastic link ring for you to attach it to playmats and hangers.

Keepsakes

Have you got piles of baby grows and vests that are just too special to part with?

You will only need 3 to 5 baby grows, vests, t-shirts etc to make a memory bear. Pick the ones which are most special to you but if you've got thousands to choose from you might like to pick a theme or colour. If you would like more advice on what to pick please contact me. I try to add as much of the character of the clothing as possible by adding images and buttons etc to the bear. If you don't think you have enough items of clothing or maybe even more than 5 you want to use, let me know as we may still be able to make you something.

The average keepsake is 27cm tall but he/she might be a tad shorter if you're using just newborn size clothing or only baby t-shirts. If you have a lot of fabric available I will try to them bigger if you wish.

I currently have a few designs available but please contact me if you would like me to make any other creature. Although I design most of my creatures myself if you have a specific idea, I can find some toy patterns I just can't resist to use.

Sleeping Ted

These little cuties are doing exactly what your little one never does...sleep! They have little felt noses and sleeping eyes. All the bears come with their own fully lined bib and a hand embroidered name at no extra charge. (There will be a small extra charge if you would like to add a date/weight/your own message).

 

 

Happy Hippo

Similar to ted he comes with his own fully lined bib and a hand embroidered name.

Baby Bunny/Monster

These are bigger versions of my original baby cuddlies. They have little sleeping eyes and a felt dummy in a choice of colour, the name is embroidered on their little bum!

Traditional Ted

These little teds are jointed with the traditional long arms and snouts. Although I can use blankets with all my designs I think cellular blankets work particularly well with the traditional ted.

A Make-it-yourself Crafting Keepsake Kit

This is a kit designed for complete beginners to create their own keepsake using a memorable baby grow or vest. Not a lot of material is required so they're ideal for small items of clothing. The colour choices available are based on the colour of the fabric used on the dummy, at the moment there is white, cream, dark pink and blue. Please contact me if you would like to have a different colour such as purple, baby pink etc..

Included in this kit… All the instructions and templates, Stuffing beads, Cream material for the face and ears, Embroidery Floss, threads and needle, Felt, Evenweave fabric. You will need... A special baby-grow or vest (Newborn size and plus), Polyester filling, Machine thread to sew by hand or a sewing machine with a drop feed foot, Pins, A sharp pair of scissors.

This item is not suitable for children under 36 months due to small parts. I am also unable to give this item a CE mark as the main fabric will be one of your choice.

Ordering your keepsake:

Please contact me initially through this website. Once we have discussed what it is you're looking for I may ask you to fill in a little form for me, this can either be popped in the post with your items or sent via email. This is purely to make sure that I get your keepsake exactly how you want it and don't miss anything.

You then need to pop your clothing in the post and I will make your bear as soon as I receive payment (note that my waiting list is in order of payment). I can take payment through Paypal, cheque or bank transfer. I try to get your keepsake out to you within a couple of days of receiving the clothes but if there is a waiting list I will give you an approximate time scale. Prices start from £38 and that will include a handmade cuddly with embroidered name and delivery. Please see Keepsakes - Safety & Returns Policy.

Taggies

These are handmade, quilted taggies for babies who love labels.

They have the added benefit of having a squeaker and beads inside for extra sensory entertainment.

I can personalise them with felt lettering, please contact me for more details.

Baby Toys

Woof Woof! Rattles

These handmade rattles make cute little extra gifts or stocking fillers. They have a nice soft rattle that won't drive you mad and little ribbon collars/tails for babies who like labels. A range of colours are available suitable for both boys or girls, so no worrying about the sex of the new baby! Each one measures approximately 11cm X 6cm or 4.5" X 2.5".
