Survey of ICT facilities at home

Results from Year 7 (2000)

The pupils in Year 7 were asked if they have various ICT facilities at home. The survey was performed entirely electronically starting with a questionnaire on our web pages. The responses were sent by email, then converted into a database and the following graphical displays created to show the results:

It is interesting to note that the number of pupils with a computer at home remained at around 75% for the past 10 years but has now shot up to nearly 87%. Two-thirds of our pupils now have internet access at home, compared with one-third only 2 years ago. Satellite or digital TV has hardly changed in that time.
