Computer Hardware

'Hardware' is the term used to describe any kind of computer equipment (think of it as being something that can be physically touched).

For example - on a CD, the music or the computer files are the software, the disk itself is the hardware.

Hardware can be divided into five main types:

Input Devices

Output Devices

Storage Devices & Media

Communication Devices

Domestic Devices
