Photo on right is marked 1926, making her age about 57. She lived at Cheshunt. Bibby was a gardener on an Estate there.

In 1901, at the age of 8, George lived with his father (37), mother Alice (36), siblings Minnie (10), William (6), and Alice (2wks), together with his Aunt Harriette (39) in Plaistow, Bromley, Kent. (Stanley, age 8 is missing on the record)

George at age 19 had moved out by 1911. His parents, now in their late 40's had more children living with them: Minnie Boaks (20), Stanley Boaks (18), William Boaks (16) and now Rose Boaks (10), Rubelia Boaks (7), Frederick Boaks (7), Robert Boaks (6), Bertram Boaks (1). (Alice, who would have now been 10 is missing from the record.)

George, the younger, is recorded in the 1911 Census, at age 19, as unmarried and living with his Uncle Herbert and cousin Archie Boaks, age 10. He was working under his uncle as a gardener.

George was killed in action 12/09/1916 during WW1.
